Low tackle numbers in 2020
Jackson recorded 28 tackles (15 solo), 2.5 sacks, two defensed passes and one fumble recovery across 15 games in 2020.
Analysis: Jackson finished with the lowest tackle total of his career (min. 10 games played), aside from his rookie year in 2012. The 30-year-old did stay mostly healthy, however, only missing a single contest due to a concussion. The veteran also saw his workload steadily drop to around fifty percent of defensive snaps down the stretch of the season, making him an unlikely option for high-end fantasy value in IDP formats come 2021. Still, he could provide a relatively steady floor.

Good to go Week 15
Jackson (concussion) is active for Sunday's game against the Cardinals.
Analysis: The 30-year-old sustained the concussion during last week's win over the Saints, but he was able to fully clear the league's five-step concussion protocol. Jackson has played about half the defensive snaps since the Week 9 bye and should have a similar workload Sunday.

Draws questionable tag
Jackson (concussion) is questionable for Sunday's game in Arizona, Martin Frank of The Delaware News Journal reports.
Analysis: Jackson will need to fully clear the league's five-step concussion protocol before retaking the field, and he still has some hurdles to surpass before getting the green light to suit up Sunday. Javon Hargrave would be the favorite to enter the starting lineup if Jackson can't go.

Concussion confirmed
Jackson (concussion) was limited in practice Wednesday.
Analysis: Jackson's designation on the injury report confirms the suspicion that he suffered a concussion in last week's game against the Saints, which means he will need to clear the league's five-step concussion protocol in order to suit up Sunday in Arizona. Javon Hargrave would likely get the nod at defensive tackle if Jackson's unable to play.

May have suffered concussion
Jackson was forced out of Sunday's 24-21 win over the Saints and was evaluated for a head injury, Les Bowen of the Philadelphia Daily News reports.
Analysis: If Jackson has indeed been placed in the five-step concussion protocol, he won't be eligible to retake the field until garnering full clearance. Javon Hargrave would be a candidate to start at defensive tackle if Jackson is forced to miss time.

Upgraded Thursday
Jackson (quadriceps) was a full participant during Thursday's practice.
Analysis: Jackson was a limited participant Wednesday while managing the quad injury, so he appears on track for a return in Week 10. The veteran has supplied 13 tackles (six solo) and 1.5 sacks this season, so expect him to work back into the defensive line rotation for Sunday's divisional matchup against the Giants.

Still dealing with injury
Jackson (quadriceps) was a limited participant during Wednesday's practice, Chris McPherson of the team's official site reports.
Analysis: Jackson continues to work back from the quadriceps injury that he aggravated in Week 8's win over the Cowboys. If the veteran is healthy enough to return, expect him to work back into the defensive line rotation for Sunday's divisional matchup against the Giants.

Re-injures quad
Jackson (quadriceps) is questionable to return to Sunday's game against Dallas.
Analysis: Jackson wasn't on the injury report after missing last week's game with a quadriceps injury, but he appears to have aggravated that injury against the Cowboys. Javon Hargrave will likely take Jackson's spot on the interior of Philadelphia's defensive line.

Ready for Sunday's game
Jackson (quadriceps) won't carry an injury designation into Sunday's game versus the Cowboys.
Analysis: Jackson missed last week's divisional win over the Giants, but after logging a full practice Friday, he's been cleared to return to the lineup. The 30-year-old defensive tackle handled 79 percent of the defensive workload in Week 1 but saw his snap share shrink for five straight games before his injury, ending up at 44 percent in Week 6. However, Hassan Ridgeway (bicep) is now out for the year, so Jackson's snap count could start rising again as long as he's fully healthy.

Won't play Thursday
Jackson (quadriceps) has been ruled out for Thursday's game against the Giants.
Analysis: This news comes as no surprise considering Jackson's expected to miss two weeks due to the quadriceps injury he suffered in last week's loss to Baltimore. Javon Hargrave and Hassan Ridgeway should be the beneficiaries of Jackson's absence from a playing time perspective.

Could miss two games
Jackson is expected to miss two weeks with a quadriceps injury he picked up in Sunday's loss to the Ravens, Chris Mortensen of ESPN reports.
Analysis: This means Jackson likely will miss Thursday's matchup against the Giants and the Week 8 tilt against the Cowboys, and the Eagles hope he'll return to action following their Week 9 bye. Javon Hargrave is expected to bump into a starting role in place of Jackson, and Hassan Ridgeway should see his snap count rise as well.

Ruled out Week 6
Jackson (quadriceps) was ruled out of the remainder of Sunday's game against the Ravens, Daniel Gallen of The Harrisburg Patriot-News reports.
Analysis: With the game out of reach, Jackson was ruled out of the game late in the fourth quarter. He'll look to get healthy, quickly, as the team will host the Giants on Thursday night. For the remainder of Sunday's game, look for Javon Hargrave to take over at one of the defensive tackle positions.

Back from injury
Jackson (foot) was a full participant during Wednesday's practice, Daniel Gallen of The Harrisburg Patriot-News reports.
Analysis: The veteran is hoping for a healthier 2020 after he suffered a Lisfranc foot injury in Week 1 of 2019 before spending the rest of the campaign on injured reserve. He was spotted taking reps with the first-team defense Wednesday, so he could be in line for a decent role this upcoming season. The 30-year-old had 32 tackles (25 solo) and 3.5 sacks in his last full season as a member of the Jaguars in 2018.

Should be ready by April
Jackson (foot) is expected to be cleared for action by April or May, Jeff McLane of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
Analysis: Jackson sustained a Lisfranc foot injury in Week 1 and was subsequently placed on IR. At this rate, he appears on track for most, if not all, of the offseason program, and he should be full-go by training camp. Jackson's last full season was in 2018, when he accrued 32 tackles and 3.5 sacks through 16 games with the Jaguars.
