Tries out with Giants
Ledbetter worked out for the Giants on Tuesday, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports.
Analysis: Ledbetter was last released with an injury settlement from the Jaguars' injured reserve list in August while tending to an undisclosed injury, but his workout Tuesday suggests he's moved on from the issue. The 299-pound defensive end now will wait for another opportunity to make an active roster.

Cut with injury settlement
The Jaguars released Ledbetter (undisclosed) from the team's IR with an injury settlement Monday, Aaron Wilson of ProFootballNetwork.com reports
Analysis: Ledbetter landed on Jacksonville's injured reserve after clearing waivers with an undisclosed injury Aug. 11. The 28-year-old, who has not played in an NFL game since the 2020 season with Tampa Bay, will now be able to join a new squad for the 2022 campaign, once he gets healthy.

Pops back up on Jags' IR
Ledbetter reverted to Jacksonville's injured reserve with an undisclosed injury Thursday, per the NFL's transaction log.
Analysis: Ledbetter apparently picked up an undisclosed injury during the preseason, thus causing the Jaguars to waive him with an injury settlement Wednesday. After passing through waivers unclaimed, the 28-year-old defensive end will have to sit out the entire 2022 regular season barring an injury settlement with the team.

Waived with injury designation
The Jaguars waived Ledbetter with an undisclosed injury designation Wednesday, per the team's website.
Analysis: It's unclear when Ledbetter suffered the injury or how severe the issue is. Regardless, if the 2017 sixth-round pick goes unclaimed off waivers, he'll revert to Jacksonville's injured reserve. In a corresponding move, the Jaguars signed defensive end Auzoyah Alufohai.

Back to full practice
Ledbetter (calf) was a full participant in Wednesday's practice, Carmen Vitali of the Buccaneers' official site reports.
Analysis: Ledbetter has missed three straight games due to a lingering calf injury, but he looks to be on track for Sunday's NFC Championship Game in Green Bay. He handled less than 30 percent of defensive snaps during his three regular-season appearances and would be ticketed for little more than a depth role along the defensive line.

Out for Sunday
Ledbetter (calf) has been ruled out for Sunday evening's divisional-round matchup against the Saints.
Analysis: After missing every day of practice this week, Ledbetter remains sidelined again due to a calf injury. With the fourth-year pro out, the Bucs defense won't suffer too much as Devin White will now be able to rejoin Tampa Bay on Sunday after being activated off the COVID-19 list.

Ruled out for wild-card round
Ledbetter (calf) has been ruled out for Saturday's wild-card matchup against Washington.
Analysis: Ledbetter wasn't even capable of submitting a limited practice session this week, making his inactivation more a matter of formality. He suited up Weeks 15 and 16 while fielding 30 combined defensive snaps, but he'll be unable to add depth at linebacker Saturday night. With Devin White confirmed unavailable for the game because of his presence on the reserve/COVID-19 list, Ledbetter's absence could become more detrimental.

Out for Week 17
Ledbetter (calf) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Falcons.
Analysis: Ledbetter has played in two games this season, logging 30 snaps on defense and a sack. With Devin White on the reserve/COVID-19 list, the Buccaneers' depth at inside linebacker will be even more important in Week 17.
