Officially clears protocols
Pratt (illness) officially cleared the NFL's COVID-19 protocols Monday and is good to go for Week 18, Jay Morrison of The Athletic reports.
Analysis: Pratt was activated off the reserve/COVID-19 list Saturday in anticipation he'd play in Week 17, but he still tested positive Sunday morning and was ultimately downgraded to out. However, he has now cleared protocols after being sidelined for five days and will be available for the team's Week 18 showdown with the Browns. In his last four appearances, Pratt has totaled 39 tackles, one forced fumble and half a sack.

Not available Sunday
The Bengals downgraded Pratt (COVID-19 protocols) to out for Sunday's game against the Chiefs, Ben Baby of ESPN.com reports.
Analysis: According to Paul Dehner Jr. of The Athletic, Pratt tested negative for the virus Saturday and was reinstated from the reserve/COVID-19 list later that day in anticipation that he would clear the NFL's COVID-19 return-to-play protocol Sunday morning. However, Dehner relays that Pratt's second test didn't return negative, leaving him unavailable to play Sunday. Logan Wilson and Markus Bailey are expected to serve as Cincinnati's primary linebackers while the team typically keeps four defensive…read more

Off reserve/COVID-19 list
Pratt (undisclosed) was activated off the reserve/COVID-19 list Saturday, Marisa Contipelli of the Bengals' official site reports.
Analysis: Pratt has developed into an integral part of the emerging Bengals defense and Saturday's designation should afford him the chance to build upon his recent streak of positive play. The middle linebacker leads the team with 39 tackles combined over the last four weeks.

Placed on COVID-19 list
Pratt (undisclosed) was placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list Wednesday.
Analysis: Pratt has played every single defensive snap over the last three games, so his potential absence would be a huge blow to the Bengals' defense. If he's unable to clear protocols ahead of the team's Week 17 contest against the Chiefs, then Keandre Jones and Austin Calitro would be likely candidates to fill the potential void at middle linebacker.

Another nine-tackle outing
Pratt had nine tackles (four solo) and one pass breakup during Sunday's overtime loss to the Bengals.
Analysis: Pratt has racked up 70 total tackles through 13 appearances this season, to go with two pass breakups, an interception and two forced fumbles. He also has two fumble recoveries. Next on deck, the starting linebacker will travel to Denver for Week 15. He's played 95-plus percent of defensive snaps in back-to-back contests.

Strong impact in loss
Pratt had nine tackles (three solo), a forced fumble and a fumble recovery during Sunday's 41-22 loss to the Chargers.
Analysis: Pratt played all but two defensive snaps and had his most productive game of the season Sunday. The 2019 third-round pick averages just over five tackles per contest and has limited IDP appeal.

Eight tackles in Thursday's win
Pratt had eight tackles (five solo) and a tackle for loss in Thursday's 24-21 win over the Jaguars.
Analysis: Pratt picked up just one tackle against the Bears in Week 2, but he has produced either seven or eight tackles in each of the Bengals' other three games. The 2019 third-round pick played a season-high 79 percent of Cincinnati's defensive snaps in this one after hovering between 43 and 60 percent in each of the team's first three games. That extra usage can be attributed to facing a run-heavy Jaguars offense, and Pratt's workload will likely decrease against more pass-heavy teams.

Leads team in tackles
Pratt tallied 12 tackles to lead the team in Week 1 against the Chargers.
Analysis: Pratt vacuumed up plenty of tackles from his linebacker role. While none were particularly explosive, he logged 54 snaps on defense in addition to 16 on special teams. He'll continue to play a key role in multiple facets of the game in Week 2 against Cleveland.

Added competition
The Bengals drafted three linebackers (Logan Wilson, Akeem Davis-Gaither, and Markus Bailey) in the 2020 NFL Draft, meaning that Pratt will face competition for playing time despite finishing strong at the end of 2019.
Analysis: Pratt didn't start playing on every down until Week 11, but from that point on he notched 53 of his 76 tackles on the season. He's more likely to retain a starting spot than fellow holdovers Jordan Evans and Hardy Nickerson, but he's on notice to produce right away.

Manages 76 stops as a rookie
Pratt notched 76 tackles (50 solo) across 16 regular-season contests in 2019.
Analysis: Pratt began the 2019 season in a depth role, but he began regularly handling 60-plus percent of defensive snaps following Cincinnati's Week 9 bye. Given his strong play down the stretch, the 2019 third-round pick stands a fair chance of opening the 2020 season with IDP value.

Makes two tackles for loss
Pratt was credited with 11 tackles (nine solo) in Sunday's 38-35 loss to Miami.
Analysis: Pratt has now logged double-digit stops in back-to-back games after not having done so prior to Week 15. He'll look to close out the season strong at home Week 17 against the Browns.

Paces squad in stops
Pratt made nine tackles (seven solo) in Sunday's 34-13 loss to the Patriots.
Analysis: Pratt led the team in stops while posting a career high in the process. The rookie third-round pick also logged 49 defensive snaps -- his highest mark of the season. Despite his limited workload this year, Pratt has accrued 58 tackles. He's worth keeping in mind for IDP formats in 2020.

Makes career-high eight tackles
Pratt notched a career-high eight tackles (six solo) in Sunday's 16-10 loss to the Steelers.
Analysis: Pratt, who has assumed starting middle linebacker duties, has racked up 14 total tackles over the past two weeks. The rookie will look to maintain his recent momentum in Week 13 against the Jets.

Set for starting role
Pratt will draw the start at middle linebacker for Sunday's tilt against the Raiders, Geoff Hobson of the Bengals' official site reports.
Analysis: Pratt's opportunity to slot into the starting lineup comes following Cincinnati's decision to part ways with Preston Brown. The rookie third-round pick played 23 snaps on defense (50 percent) in Week 10's loss to the Ravens, during which he notched four tackles (three solo). The winless Bengals will likely opt to take the final seven games of the regular season to evaluate what they have in Pratt and weigh his potential as a starter for 2020 and beyond.
