Clears COVID protocols
Green was activated from the reserve/COVID-19 list Friday.
Analysis: Green's move back to the active roster comes just in time for the Browns' matchup with the Packers on Saturday. With Troy Hill likely out with a knee injury and also still on the COVID list along with Greg Newsome, Green could be looking at a substantial role in the Browns' secondary Saturday. Primarily a contributor on special teams, Green hasn't seen significant work on defense since Week 5 against the Chargers, when he recorded six tackles and two passes defensed.

Moved to COVID list
Green was placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list Friday.
Analysis: Green tested positive for the virus Friday, which would have made it impossible for him to play Saturday against the Raiders. Now with the game moving to Monday, Green could return in time to play if he is fully vaccinated and can return two negative tests 24 hours apart.

Tests positive for COVID-19
Green was placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list Thursday after testing positive for the virus, Scott Petrak of the Elyria Chronicle-Telegram reports.
Analysis: Green will likely be unavailable for Saturday's matchup with the Raiders while in the health and safety protocols. The 23-year-old has primarily played special teams in his nine games this season.

Puts in full practice
Green (concussion) was a full practice participant Wednesday, Nate Ulrich of the Akron Beacon Journal reports.
Analysis: Green missed Week 11's tilt against the Lions with a concussion, so it's a great sign he was back in full in the first practice of the week. He should be back in his usual depth role in the Browns' secondary on Sunday night.

Out against Detroit
Green (concussion) is out Sunday against the Browns, Nate Ulrich of the Akron Beacon Journal reports.
Analysis: Green entered the concussion protocol after last week's loss against the Patriots. His absence will affect the Browns' defensive backfield depth, but it won't make an impact in the fantasy realm.

Enters concussion protocol
Coach Kevin Stefanski said Monday that Green is in the concussion protocol, Scott Petrak of the Elyria Chronicle-Telegram reports.
Analysis: Green played just nine snaps on special teams prior to his departure in Sunday's loss to the Patriots. If he's unable to return for Sunday's matchup against Detroit, his absence shouldn't impact the Browns' defensive plans.

Evaluated for concussion
Green is being evaluated for a concussion after exiting Sunday's game against the Patriots, Nate Ulrich of the Akron Beacon Journal reports.
Analysis: Green didn't record any tackles prior to his early departure. If he's dealing with a concussion, he'll have several steps to clear if he hopes to play in Week 11 against the Lions.

Expects to play Sunday
Green (groin) is expected to play Sunday against the Bengals, Scott Petrak of the Elyria Chronicle-Telegram reports.
Analysis: Green is slated to play in Week 9 after missing the Browns' last three games with shoulder and groin injuries. With the cornerback likely to play Sunday, Troy Hill and Greedy Williams may see fewer snaps than they have been receiving as fill-in corners for Denzel Ward (hamstring).

Inactive Sunday
Green (groin) is inactive Sunday against the Steelers.
Analysis: Green hasn't been able to suit up since Week 5 against the Chargers, where he played 91 percent of the snaps filling in for Denzel Ward. Troy Hill will continue to take on the bulk of that work, while Green will try to return Week 9 against the Bengals.

Ruled out for Thursday
Green (shoulder) won't play Thursday night against the Broncos, Mary Kay Cabot of The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.
Analysis: Green won't be available for a second consecutive game after missing the Browns' Week 6 loss to the Cardinals. The cornerback's depth role will likely be filled by Greedy Williams and Troy Hill. Green's next chance to return to the field will be in Week 8 against the Steelers.

Doesn't suit up against Arizona
Green (shoulder) was inactive Sunday against the Cardinals, Andrew Gribble of the Browns' official website reports.
Analysis: Green was a limited participant in practice all week, but he was unable to suit up against the Cardinals in Week 6. The 23-year-old cornerback played 62 defensive snaps during Week 5's loss to the Chargers after Denzel Ward was knocked out of the game. However, Ward is healthy now, so Green's role will likely be limited to special teams if he is able to return to action in Week 7.
